Trammel

Trammel

An image of Britannia’s larger moon, Trammel. This moon has an orbit of just over 9 days, meaning it completes three full rotations each month. The phase of Trammel determines the destination of a blue moongate from dusk until midnight.

This image is derived from its appearance in Ultima 9, during cutscenes. Some modifications were made, as the entirety of the moon’s surface was not onscreen at any one time.

In-game, Trammel shone with a slightly reddish tint.

There is still a couple seams that I’m trying to correct on this image, but they are not apparent in my UDK demo so I decided to upload the file as-is.

EDIT: I updated a newer version of this file, which looks nicer outside of the game.

Just noticed the addition of the second moon…very nice, very nice indeed. Looking forward to seeing more of this UDK module you’re working on!
