Mudbox Now Available by Subscription
A twitter ad alerted me that Autodesk now offers Mudbox 2015 via subscription.
Mudbox is a digital 3D sculpting and painting tool, ideal for creating high-poly models and assets. It is primarily used for high-resolution digital sculpting, texture painting, and displacement and normal map creation, although it is also used as a design and digital photography tool.
For games applications, Mudbox is one of the most used tools for high-quality sculpting (the other being Zbrush).

Learn More
If you are interested in learning how to use Mudbox, your first stop should be the Autodesk Knowledge Base, where there is a Web version of the application Help, followed by some time perusing the Mudbox Community tutorials.
If you need more assistance, Jeremy Roland has a decent article on Getting Started with Mudbox; although designed for the 2013 release, most is still applicable to the current version.
Go Get It
Before you start, download a free 30-day trial of Mudbox from the Autodesk homepage. When you are ready to go, you can buy a subscription for only $10 per month!
