Goldenflame’s Headcanon: The Lands of Sosaria

This is the first post in my series of ideas for the Ultima universe that were going to be true in the fictions I no longer plan to write.

In Ultima VI, we have Britannia, and on the flip side, the gargoyle lands. In between is the underworld. (In some kind of metaphysical center, the Chamber of the Codex, reached via the Abyss from Britannia and the Shrine of Singularity from the gargoyle lands- this is a mild retcon from the description in U6. More detail in a later post.)

The Lands of Lord British & the Feudal Lords

In Ultima VII Part 2 we have the Lands of Danger and Despair returning as the Serpent Isle itself. I like to think that it also had a flip side, and that it and Britannia’s (originally the Lands of Lord British) flip sides were the Lands of the Feudal Lords and of the Dark Unknown. (I never bothered determining which was the flip for which.) Thus all four lands from Ultima I were still connected.
