Xbox One Add-on for Unity

Today, Unity and Microsoft announced that the Xbox One deployment add-on for Unity will be available FOR FREE to all developers registered with the ID@Xbox program. This means that all Xbox One developers, not just partners to Microsoft Games Studios, can leverage Unity to create Xbox One titles. Additionally, a special Xbox One version of Unity Pro is also available for these same developers, FOR FREE.

While the ID@Xbox program is available to all developers, including indies, it is currently in limited beta with a small audience. This is expected to open up soon, with a full beta early next year.

This is great news for those who are interested in creating console games with Unity!
