RenderDoc Goes Open Source
Today, Crytek uploaded the source of RenderDoc to GitHub, releasing it to directly access, modify and improve the graphics debugging tool that was released a few months ago.
A tool of this nature and quality, being open source, is a great thing!
Attention developers: @RenderDoc , our free Graphics Debugging Tool, is now Open Source! http://t.co/0J6Tul5deC #opensource #gamedev

Get It
RenderDoc can be downloaded for free from Crytek. The source is now available from the GitHub repository.
The CryEngine SDK can also be be downloaded for free for non-commercial use.
Go Crytek. Seems the world is getting more open-sourcey by the day! Love it.
Apparently, they also have version 0.2 available as a binary, if anyone doesn’t want to assemble it themselves.

All they need to complete ascension is to add a couple of .deb’s and .rpm’s in there. Those .msi’s have a foul smell about them. 😉
