Shards Online

This week, Citadel Studios posted some links on Twitter for prospective Shards Online modders.

Shards Online is a online sandbox RPG, heavily inspired by Ultima Online and similar MMOs, that is being created by Citadel Studios. Players can run their own shards by hosting their own world, similar to how Minecraft users can create their own world, or by paying Citadel or a third party to host their server for them. Custom shards can be created through scripting and, given the links provided, it appears Shards will use Lua for this customization.
