nVidia GameWorks for both CryENGINE and Unreal Engine 4
nVidia announced that they have partnered both with Crytek and with Epic to bring GameWorks to their game development environments.
nVidia Gameworks is a unified set of technologies that includes the formerly singular PhysX physics rendering engine, the VisualFX library (WaveWorks, FaceWorks, HairWorks, and the upcoming FlameWorks), and the new OptiX ray-tracing engine.
Crytek will bring GameWorks support first to Warface, its CryENGINE-based free-to-play online first-person shooter, before integrating it into CryENGINE proper.
Epic has incorporated support for GameWorks directly into Unreal Engine 4, which as previously reported, is now available as a subscription.
